Me enorgullece anunciarles que participaré en la exposición colectiva del PinyóArt, con motivo del festival de música+arte Pinyó Rock en Aliante.
La inauguración tendrá lugar el Martes 22 de
Junio a las 20:00 en la Fundación Frax.
Exponen también compañeros de la talla de mi gran amigo Sergio Cordoba , Pedro Arazola, Malagón, Ximo Abadía y más.

Este es un cuadro en el que llevo trabajando tres semanitas, cada vez que tengo un hueco lo voy avanzando un poco. Dentro de poco estara terminado pero mientras unas fotitos de como esta quedando. Es rotulador permanente sobre pvc, 50X70 cms ¡Espero que les guste!

Sojos es una asociación juvenil que desarrolla su actividad en el ámbito territorial de la provincia de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria y cuya principal función es el desarrollo y difusión de actividades relacionadas con el cómic/manga, videojuegos, rol (en todas sus variantes), cine, literatura, ilustración y muchas más actividades relacionadas con estos ámbitos.

Taller de Manga Abril 2010 :: April's 2010 Manga workshop

El pasado 26 de Abril acabo el taller de manga ¡y tengo que decir que me lo pase genial! Tuve la suerte de contar con alumnos muy motivados y espero que no dejen de dibujar nunca. :D

Muchas gracias por haber asistido a mis clases. Espero que las hayan disfrutado tanto como yo.

On April 26th manga's workshop was finished and I have to say that I had a great time! I was fortunate to have highly motivated students and hopefully they won't ever stop drawing. : D

Sigue tu camino :: Follow your path

Aqui esta el resultado final del mural. Todos los personajes van hacia un mismo sitio, pero la ardilla superman se desbanca y decide seguir otro sendero para llegar a su objetivo (simbolizado por el punto negro). Con este mural supongo que quiero expresar el mensaje : No tengas miedo a hacer lo que quieres aun cuando nadie haga lo que tu. Sigue tus impulsos, ellos te llevaran hacia donde quieres estar. Espero que les guste!

Here it's the mural's final result. My interpretation is:
All the characters go to the same place but the superman squirrel who decides to follow another path to reach his/her goal (symbolized by the black dot). With this mural I guess I want to express this message: Don't be afraid to do what you want even if no one does the same you do. Follow your heart, it'll take you where you belong. I hope you like it!

Aqui esta mi propuesta para el cartel de Animayo 2010. Fue preseleccionada junto con otras 7 propuestas, pero gano Maria Teresa Santana Almeida con su platillo volante sobre fondo negro. ¡Felicidades Maria Teresa! No me disgusta el concepto, entre los preseleccionados habria elegido la propuesta de Octavio Alonso, ¡me encanta!

Here is my proposal for the Animayo's 2010 poster. It was shortlisted along with 7 other proposals, but Maria Teresa Santana Almeida's one was the winner with her flying saucer over a black background. Maria Teresa,congratulations! I like the concept though, between the shortlisted proposal I'd have chosen the Octavio Alonso, I love it!

Taller de Manga :: Manga's workshop

Con motivo del "Abril culturas mil" que organiza el centro cultural de Maspalomas impartire un taller de Manga que pretende dar una vision general de la tecnica de dibujo manga.

Siento decir que las plazas estan todas agotadas pero esta sera mi primera toma de contacto con una clase y espero que la experiencia sea productiva para asi animarme a impartir algun curso de mas duracion.

El taller sera los dias 12, 14, 16, 19, 21 y 23 de Abril de 17:00 a 19:00 en el Centro Cultural de Maspalomas, Av Tejeda 72, San Fernando. Tf: 928 72 00 35.

On the occasion of "April thousand cultures" organized by the Cultural Centre of Maspalomas, I'll be teaching a Manga workshop that aims to provide an overview of manga's drawing technics.

I regret to say that the seats are all sold out but this will be my first contact with a class and I hope that the experience is productive so that it encourages me to provide some longer courses.
