Estos ultimos dos meses y medio he estado viviendo en Seúl nutriendome visualmente de esa vibrante ciudad y sus gentes :) Gracias a todos por su paciencia. Ya estoy de vuelta en mi estudio trabajando alimentada por la inspiración adquirida. En breve subiré nuevos trabajos, ¡espero que les gusten!

These last two and half months I have been living in Seoul visually nourishing this vibrant city and its people:) Thank you all for your patience. I'm back in my studio working supplied by the inspiration gained. Soon I will upload new works, I hope you like them!

Este es un cuadro en el que llevo trabajando tres semanitas, cada vez que tengo un hueco lo voy avanzando un poco. Dentro de poco estara terminado pero mientras unas fotitos de como esta quedando. Es rotulador permanente sobre pvc, 50X70 cms ¡Espero que les guste!

Taller de Manga Abril 2010 :: April's 2010 Manga workshop

El pasado 26 de Abril acabo el taller de manga ¡y tengo que decir que me lo pase genial! Tuve la suerte de contar con alumnos muy motivados y espero que no dejen de dibujar nunca. :D

Muchas gracias por haber asistido a mis clases. Espero que las hayan disfrutado tanto como yo.

On April 26th manga's workshop was finished and I have to say that I had a great time! I was fortunate to have highly motivated students and hopefully they won't ever stop drawing. : D

Sigue tu camino :: Follow your path

Aqui esta el resultado final del mural. Todos los personajes van hacia un mismo sitio, pero la ardilla superman se desbanca y decide seguir otro sendero para llegar a su objetivo (simbolizado por el punto negro). Con este mural supongo que quiero expresar el mensaje : No tengas miedo a hacer lo que quieres aun cuando nadie haga lo que tu. Sigue tus impulsos, ellos te llevaran hacia donde quieres estar. Espero que les guste!

Here it's the mural's final result. My interpretation is:
All the characters go to the same place but the superman squirrel who decides to follow another path to reach his/her goal (symbolized by the black dot). With this mural I guess I want to express this message: Don't be afraid to do what you want even if no one does the same you do. Follow your heart, it'll take you where you belong. I hope you like it!
